Probably as some sort of hero type dealie... you know, like kerrigan in the first one (all the other heroes seemed to be based on existing units)...

maybe they'll only be enemies- they just come at you during a few of the missions, but you can't control them- think i'll play myself some sc right now!

Yeah, I think you're right about the hero thing. It seems the sort of thing that they would do, where there's just one of them and it makes its entrance about half way through the campaigns. I hope it isn't a race that you play against.

Yes! Play that SC! I must admit, I played myself a good half hour of DiaBlose II yesterday. Good for procrastinating, or just for eating up regular time! In fact, I could throw another half hour away right now!

Yeah. uh oh. I hope they haven't fallen into the trap of thinking that 'hey, we stole so much from the Alien + Aliens movies, and our game turned out great! Let's just do the same thing with these new movies!' Because that would end bad.

But hey, I say 'if it feels good, do it.'

This is getting very abstract, but yes, I do think Starcraft will have an interesting story.

Quick update: Starcraft 2 will be released as a trilogy - 30 missions in each game release, terran, zerg, then protoss. Multiplayer will be available in full from the first release.

Diablo 3 will still be better.

90 single player missions? This could get expensive...

Someone on the blizzard forums (which means it MUST be true) mentioned the possibility of co-op campaign, any thoughts?

More importantly: has anyone else heard this?

They did mention that that was something they were trying to do. Me and simmo and liz watched Blizz Con and that wasn't an anouncement but they did actually say it was something they were looking into which would be awesome.
