The (or one of the) ABC reporter(s) in China (who reported on that issue about internet censorship) mentioned that he stopped by a restaurant that specialised in cooking animal penis. He tried three types: Sheep's, Cow's and Deer's (I think). He didn't much like them. So, my question is, d'you reckon you would eat animal penis?

They should have draws in the olympics. Sure, Michael Phelps is good and all and he did kick arse, but I don't think he should have got all the 8 golds, or, at least, someone else in one of those particular races should have got gold as well.

I think the race was the 100m butterfly, and Phelps won by 1/100th of a second!! That's total BS. That is not winning; that is fucking drawing, in my book. 1/100th of a second is, like, a statistical anomaly: it's, like, the difference in signal times ...

Does anyone else find that the Heat, SemiFinal, Final system in the events like swimming in particular (and other sports) is either outdated or just not really... good. I mean, I noticed the other day that in the 50m freestyle (I think) the Australian guy broke the world record in the semifinals. Then the finals came around and he didn�t even medal. ...yet he�s the fastest. I dun understand.

Seriously where will it end. They have been discussing recently whether or not to ban the buying of multiple drinks in bars which will make the lines at bars exponentionally longer!

When I was overseas it was great. You did what you wanted and you stopped when you wanted. There were far far less violent altercations (at least that I saw) compared to the 3 or so I see in NSW every night i go out from people being kicked out of pubs.

So lately I've been listening to M.Ward's Transfiguration of Vincent quite a lot. It's an incredibly pretentious title for a fairly straightforward bluesy pop album. Most of the songs have a really simple, sort of country beat and then a whole bunch of layered guitars and piano. He also uses a lot of echo on his voice, kind of reminds me of Bowie.
