A wonderful, magical animal.

I've seen that commercial for the pizza that has 8 meats, and I didn't catch all the meats that it mentioned but i did notice it most definitely did mentioned "bacon" and "ham" as separate meats. Personally, I disagree. My philosophy is: "Same animal, same meat." Anyone else?

I concur. The whole point is that you are killing different animals! When alex and I made the '7 meat' curry we used 7 different animals - pig, sheep, cow, rabbit (was disgusting), kangaroo, chicken, and one other... i can't remember. We were going for 9 and i remember we could only get 7.

Ham and Bacon are different meats- for one they are produced differently, one is cured the other is... well bugger me, i dun know! i have a gut feeling (oh my yes, pun intended) that one is cured and the other is smoked, but i can back that up.

Well, by that logic, you could say a beef porterhouse and a beef T-bone are different meats...

Nope- they're two cuts prepared in the same way- i'm talking about the difference between hanging a meat and smoking it, and drying it in the sun- which i assume is how those meats are made... also they taste very different, once again Marc you show your inferior vegetarian knowledge of meats! (Yes i realise you aren't vego anymore, my hypothesis is that a time limited though that may be of vego-ness, will result in slight retardation... oh no he di'n't!)
