Pill that gets you a tangy tan.

Initially they're saying that this tanning pill will be used (pending approval) only by people who've had organ transplants (because apparently they're at most risk of skin cancer) but it seems that eventually it will become available to the general public (I think the article implied 2010).

What do people think about a tanning pill?

Pointless. To the extreme!

As opposed to tanning in the sun or tanning with tanning cream, or do you just hate tans?

People like tan. It's like how people insist on haircuts and shaving and moisturising and bathing.

Shaving and bathing are different to wanting a tan!

Explain how. They're all just cosmetic changes.

The process of tanning doesn't smell...

Maybe some tanning lotions have a smell, but I don't think a pill would.

Because they think it's attractive. It's hardly rocket surgery.

So people are dumb enough that they'll do something harmful (Sun tanning)/ ridiculous (spray tanning)/ no completely safe (pill tanning) just so they look cool to other people who are just as dumb?

Got to be some sort of trend in that...

not really, i find tan's look better and more healthy than non-tans. I also try to get tans. Do you do your hair? Do you wear hats? Do you buy nice looking shirts? Why when you can buy cheaper shittier looking shirts? Because looking good is good.
