Re: Because offbeat isn't always bad
140 years!?? Freakin hell, I had no idea they lived to that age. That's amazing. And that thing was huge.
But I reckon you should have put this in "Weird headlines" or whatever it's called.

Re: Because offbeat isn't always bad
I did not know that lobsters could live to anything near that age!
That's amazing
I think that that is soo amazing that it deserves it's own thread.
Well done glen.

The smile bit makes it look like a raised surface and the red bit catches the eye and delights the mind.

Yes, I would also like to express my fondness for that particular avatar & rank. But what really fries me is that you didn't even bother to burn down the building when you left.

Re: Because offbeat isn't always bad
Aww, I assumed we were living in the not-too-distant-future, and all our personal details were kept in a central and heartless governing body's database where they were updated constantly to reflect our current life situation and social status for all to see.

No. There was a dishwasher but it was a bit bulky and like, plugged into things.

Re: Because offbeat isn't always bad
Lobster!
And now the circle is complete: from 140 year old lobster, to a clown smilie that looks like a button, to stealing toasters from the workplace that you got the sack from, and finally back to lobsters. What a journey.

Re: Because offbeat isn't always bad
I don't know why he was "mixing the dog meat with chemicals to conceal the different smell and colour". Why didn't he just sell it as dog meat dogs? Yeah, it's probably illegal, but that just raises further questions.

Re: Because offbeat isn't always bad
For a guy selling sausages who I am going to assume as a street vendor, his counterfeit setup seems awefully elaborate.
Re: Because offbeat isn't always bad
Does that preclude it from being profitable?
