Re: video Links
It's likely you may have already seen these, but I hadn't. I thought they were rather amusing, they're of the same genre as Red vs Blue (who's kind has been steadily increasing in popularity, which is an interesting discussion in itself) but this has an interesting difference, I thought.

Re: video Links
Very chilling, and disturbing, and enraging... and disheartening.
I don't suppose the StaggerLee that commented was you?

No, it wasn't. What'd he say?
edit: Ah, I see. Screw you, I know the right way to use "their", "there" and "they're."

Ha, to be honest, I didn't even realise. But hey, I guess that's because I focus more on the content of what people say... Snap!

Re: video Links
The CG clip is rather impressive, and it's about a rather impressive subject.
The whole talk is 10mins long but if you're impatient i.e. you're Trev, you can skip to about 7:00mins in to when the CG clip starts.

Re: video Links
I only just got around to watching that; I forgot about it. I think it lost its effect on me since I couldn't really exactly remember the tone of Ferris Beuller's (sp?) day off, and so the music almost fitted. It was only till about half way through that I thought "Oh, it's a joke. I get jokes..." But then maybe I'm a little slow.Marc wrote:Requiem For A Day Off
Also,

I saw this on The Gruen Transfer, and thought it was, well, ok. You've possibly seen it, especially if you're Marc, who seems to have heard of absolutely any net-story there possibly is no matter how random, bizarre or pointless it may appear to be, and has heard of how it’s not actually true but made up, on his epic jaunts through cyberspace scouring all the inter-world’s forums and assimilating their information. I call him Trapper Keeper, the forum guzzler! Anyways, the video ain’t so great, but when/if I buy a blender it will be that brand.

Re: video Links
Hahaha, I haven't seen this specifically, no. But I have seen the Conan O'Brien sketch of the same name/concept.
We are Trapper Keeper. We are One.
Also, that blender is off the fooking hook. You could blend a whale in that thing.

Re: video Links
These are just some pretty cool clips that I came across on YouTube (there's quite a lot on there, hey). I picked the shortest ones I could find, okay, whilst still being rather good.
The sun. Incredible. 0:21 long
Little blurb on SolarSystem Birth. Voice over not the best. 2:55 long
Soundless artist's interpretation of the perspective of our solar system relative to the milky way 0:28 long

Shit. Holy Shit. The Holy Shit. Incredible. (turn your volume down because TED talks have this annoying habit of opening with a rather loud intro)
